Updates from Oz veGaon
1) Unfortunately, we must cancel this Friday’s lecture as well, because of the expected storm and because we do not have conditions at the nature preserve to allow us to hold events in such weather.
2) Yesterday, members of Congress Robert Pittenger from North Carolina and Dennis Ross from Florida visited Oz veGaon. Thanks to Eli Pieprz of the Judea and Samaria Council and to Ruthie Lieberman, who brought them to the nature preserve. The two members of Congress, who were on a tour in the area of Judea, were very impressed with the site that was established by Women in Green in memory of the three abducted youths. It was very good to hear from them about their unwavering support for Israel and the steps that the prime minister is taking to eradicate the threat of a nuclear Iran. They claimed, correctly, that this is not the time to discuss the procedural pettiness of who made the invitation, or how the invitation was made; now is the time to discuss the danger of a nuclear Iran. Attached are pictures of the visit.
3) Thanks to all of those who immediately answered the call for an emergency fund raising effort and have already committed to sending donations for Women in Green to continue its activities in raising consciousness and forming facts on the ground. May there be many more.
