Tremendous enthusiasm for the vision of sovereignty at the Leumiada. Key Likud activists call for the implementation of the vision – the People supports Sovereignty!

Members of the Sovereignty Movement were received with great enthusiasm at the Leumiada in Eilat today. The hundreds of participants expressed their unreserved support for demanding Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. The co-chairwomen of the Sovereignty Movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, distributed hundreds of tote bags with the slogan “the People supports sovereignty” to the participants.

Participants at the event reflected all sectors of Israeli society – urban and rural residents, immigrants and veteran citizens, young and old, and the encounter, where the demand for sovereignty was raised even more powerfully, provides a tailwind for the entire movement and its hasbara activities, especially in these days of historic opportunity to apply sovereignty”, say Katsover and Matar.

The movement views this direct encounter with the Israeli public as an extremely significant element in inculcating the vision of sovereignty and explaining its importance to the future of the State of Israel. In this spirit, Katsover and Matar take care to come to the various conferences and events of the national camp. “The people here love the Land of Israel with all their heart. All want to join together and express their loyalty to the vision of sovereignty”, say Katsover and Matar, adding:

“Netanyahu succeeded in raising the vision of sovereignty on the international agenda and with an unprecedented diplomatic effort has brought about the first steps of its implementation with the consent of the greatest superpower in the world. Now, we must make sure that the steps of sovereignty will indeed be implemented as the first steps toward a continuation and prevent the establishment of an alien state in the heart of our Land. For these things to happen, the Right camp must secure its victory in the upcoming elections by one hundred percent voter participation”.
