Friday at Shdema with Dr. Haggi Ben-Artzi on Rabbi Kook

WITH possibility of SIMULTANEOUS TRANSLATION into English !(by preregistration)

Rabbi Abraham Isaac Hakohen Kook (1865-1935) was the first Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi of Eretz Israel, the living spirit of the renewal of the Jewish people in its land, a posek (decisor of Jewish law), philosopher, and one of the fathers of religious Zionism.

His students, those who follow in his path, are spread throughout Israel, in all fields of public activity, and they disseminate the great spirit of the soul of the people and the land of Israel.

Rabbi Kook was capable of reading emerging processes as the people of Israel awoke, detached itself from the corrupting Diaspora, and came together in Eretz Israel.

This Friday we will hear more about this great man who influenced entire generations, in a lecture by our friend Dr. Haggi Ben-Artzi, an educator and lecturer on Jewish Thought, Bible, and Talmud.

The lecture will be in Hebrew with possible simultaneous translation to English – on condition that enough people register for the translation by Thursday noon. Please tell all your English speaking friends and lists. To register for the translation please email nmatar@netvision.net.il
