1) The Sovereignty Movement welcomes the words of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in his inaugural speech of the 35th government of Israel regarding the need to apply Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria.
“The Prime Minister is correct in his statement according to which Beit El, Hevron and the other areas in Judea and Samaria are the exclusive heritage of the Jewish nation. The Prime Minister is correct in his statement according to which the application of Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria does not constitute an obstacle to peace, and indeed, the nation of Israel awaits a step of united leadership which will bring about Israeli sovereignty in the heart of our homeland,” says the Sovereignty Movement, but add a warning:
“The process of the application of Sovereignty must be an inseparable part of the just, moral and proper Zionist process, but in no way a part of a deal which includes agreement to the establishment of a foreign state in the heart of our country. Our movement, its supporters and all those who love and are faithful to the Land of Israel will stand guard to ensure that sovereignty is not part of a deal for our land, even if the initiator behind the deal is a friendly government in the United States.” 2) The Sovereignty movement congratulates Ministers Tzipi Hotobely and Tzachi Hanegbi on the establishment of the ministry of settlement affairs, which will serve as a lever for strengthening the settlement enterprise and the communities in Judea, Samaria and the entire Land of Israel. “Minister Hotobely, a friend of the sovereignty movement, is one of the leaders of the vision of sovereignty in the Knesset and government from its earliest days in the political arena. Minister Hotobely has been marching with us in the complex way of fulfilling the vision of sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel without a Palestinian state in its heart and we are convinced that this will continue in her new role until its actual implementation. Minister Hanegbi who will replace her down the road, the son of the High Priestess of Love for Eretz Israel Geula Cohen obm, will also, please G-d, be a loyal partner in the construction of the land and the settlement enterprise. We are confident that Minister Hanegbi will follow in his mother’s footsteps. ” Watch Minister Hotobely at the Sovereignty march: Yes to Sovereignty, Never to a Palestinian State
