Everyday Life
Life in Oz veGaon has assumed a winter routine. Thank G-d the tents have stood the blessed rains of last week, except for a few floodings that need fixing and at times it was dark and cold due to power outages. Almost every day, thank G-d, groups of students from throughout Israel come to learn and work at the preserve.
Events
Families hold events at the site. Two weeks ago, the Luria family from Pnei Kedem celebrated their son’s Bar Mitzvah along with approximately 200 guests. Congratulations! An unforgettable experience for all of the guests.
Groups
Likewise, a group of 120 young women came from the Kfar Pines religious school for girls, and worked to prepare the area for next summer’s camping. Simultaneously, there was a group of tens of girls from the Kiryat Arba Hevron school who worked in another area of the preserve. At Oz veGaon there are also courses for self-defense that everyone should take, in light of the situation.
Public Figures
A few days ago, MK Gila Gamliel came together with Council Head Davidi Perl and his deputy, Moshe Saville. MK Gamliel was very impressed with the preserve and expressed the hope that the place would become a lively center of tourism.
