This coming Friday, the 26th of Tishrei, October 5th, in Oz veGaon at 9:00 am –
G-d willing, will be the first event for the year 5779, marking 25 years since the establishment of the Women in Green movement,
which has, more than anything else, stood for the honor of the People of Israel and the Land of Israel against Oslo, against withdrawals and against submission.
Thanks to the Almighty, the movement has been very successful in raising consciousness and in recent years
it has been continuing its activities, in the area of the application of Israeli sovereignty over the Land of Israel.
To mark the event, we are launching an exhibit describing the movement’s activities and a film called The Sheriff of Hevron will be screened, about Eddie Driben z”l, who was one of the first residents in the renewed city of Hevron. In the film, which his wife Sarah produced, his strength and heroism are evident.
We will all be there! You are welcome to bring pictures or other material documenting the 25 years that Women in Green has been active.
The talks and the film are in Hebrew with simultaneous translation to English.
