Friday in Shdema with Shmuel Morano: My brother’s legacy

On the Re’eh Sabbath, 25 Menachem-Av 5776, Aug. 19th 2006, Emanuel Morano HY”D
gave his life for the sanctification of his Creator, his People and his Land.

Lt. Col. Morano was killed in action in the Ba’al-Beck region in Lebanon towards the end of the 2nd Lebanon War.
A man of many actions and few words, a true friend and a people-lover.

It has been said of Emanuel that he became one of the greatest warriors that came from and to the defense of the Jewish people in this generation.
This greatness was the result of the wonderful integration of the spiritual world with the material world.

It is our obligation to pass on the story of his bravery and learn of his dedication and devotion to the People and the Land.

B”H his brother, Shmuel Morano (may he live long), will tell of the bravery of Emanuel HY”D
in Shdema, on Friday, 15 Tevet, Dec. 28th 2012, at 9:00am.

This lecture must not be missed! It is recommended to bring older children as well.
