The Beit Midrash at Oz veGaon in Gush Etzion opened today for the sixth year, with a celebratory reception for the new regional rabbi, Rav Yosef Zvi Rimon
Of course, Rav Rimon will teach about the topic of Shmittah (the sabbatical agricultural year) in the Land of Israel.
Other shiurim will be given by Rabbanit Shani Taragin on the books of the Torah: Ecclesiastes, Job and Proverbs.
Rav Matanya Ben Shahar, rabbi of the town of Neve Daniel, will teach about the challenges in family circles, in Biblical times,in the era of the Sages and the present time and the last lesson will be given by Rav Haim Falk – on chapters of Elisha.
Dozens of women come to the Beit Midrash, mainly to increase the Jewish presence at Oz veGaon.
On Wednesdays, we will begin a program called “Shiur veSiur” (Learn and Tour) with Bible in hand, led by Rav David Nativ and Rav Yitzhak Levi.
