Friday at Oz veGaon with Moshe Feiglin
This coming Friday, the 10th of Adar I, the 19th of February, at 9:00 am we will please G-d host Moshe Feiglin at Oz veGaon. Moshe Feiglin is a former MK of Likud, deputy head of the 19th Knesset, founder of the the Zu Artzenu movement, head of the Jewish Leadership faction in the Likud and the founder of the Zehut political party.
Feiglin has laid out his creative and original political concepts in depth in his articles and books and in interviews with the media. He vehemently objects to any attempt to establish an autonomous Palestinian entity. He rejects the use of the term “Palestinian” and sees the Arab presence in the Land of Israel as an occupation that began 1,370 years ago. According to him, this occupation must be ended as soon as possible, especially the Arab control over the Temple Mount, which, he believes, will bring an end to the Arab occupation of the Land of Israel, will bring about an end to the terror and will bring peace to the region. He has vigorously objected to the Oslo Accords and the Disengagement. Feiglin favors making a unilateral decision to apply Israeli law over all territories of the Land of Israel, while encouraging voluntary emigration of the Arab population to Arab countries, which will include full citizenship in the countries to which they emigrate. That said, as long as the war that the enemy began still rages, we must object to any forced transfer, of both Jews and Arabs.
Feiglin says that he represents the values of liberalism. As part of this, he claims that it is a necessary principle for the country to show patience toward any non-violent civil unrest and especially toward any conscientious objection, from the Right as well as from the Left. He calls for supporting medical marijuana to be sold in pharmacies.
From 1996 to 2007, he published two books, which have been translated into three languages, and he has published several pamphlets and hundreds of articles.
Moshe Feiglin will lecture at Oz veGaon on the subject: “No More Occupation”. A fascinating morning, not to be missed!
