This coming Friday, G-d willing, the 18th of Sivan, June 5, at 9:00 AM at Oz veGaon, we will hear a lecture by Arnon Segal on the dwelling of the Shekhina (the Holy Presence).

Arnon Segal is a journalist and educator, and writes for Makor Rishon and the weekly publication Olam Katan.
Segal grew up in the community of Ofrah, and is the eldest son of the journalist Hagai Segal, and the brother of Amit Segal. He studied in Makor Haim Yeshiva, and afterwards in the yeshiva in Otniel in preparation for his enlistment in Golani. After his active service he began studying in the Tekoa Yeshiva where he still studies.
Segal has a Bachelor’s degree in education from Herzog College, and is in the advanced stages of preparations to receive rabbinical ordination.
He began his journalistic activities in the summer of 2008, with the weekly Olam Katan, where he writes until today.
In the month of Kislev 2012, he began working at Makor Rishon, where he publishes a weekly column entitled Home Page on matters regarding the Temple Mount and the Temple.
Segal is a member of the joint staff of the Temple Mount Faithful, and believes in the establishment of the Temple by man in our days. It was Segal who led the religious journalists in an ascension to the Temple Mount and who was the first (with the help of Yehuda Etzion) to expose the Wakf’s placement of scaffolding on the Foundation Stone, the bogus government decision dealing with the right to pray on the Temple Mount, which was forged by Jerusalem District Commander Aryeh Amit in 1995, as well as the story of the illegal documents where the Temple Mount Police made citizens sign, thus obligating them to comply with procedures on the Temple Mount that they have no authority to impose.
In January 2014, the Islamic Movement distributed a flyer with a picture of Segal calling for Muslims to prevent him from entering the Temple Mount.
He lives in the City of David, is married to Ma’ayan and is the father of five. The lecture will be in hebrew with simultaneous translation to English.
We are all coming to hear the lecture and we are happy to announce that our dear friends from AFSI (Americans for a Safe Israel) under the leadership of the amazing Helen Freedman will be joining us.
A morning not to be missed!
