Press release: reaction to Ambassador Friedman’s statement
The Sovereignty Movement congratulates and backs the American Ambassador David Friedman, the emissary of President Donald Trump, for his important remarks on the application of sovereignty, a policy that will bring stability, genuine peace and security.
After years in which the discourse on a political solution included only the possibility of withdrawals we are at a historic moment when both the United States and Israel understand that the necessary political plan is only in the application of Israeli sovereignty.
Following the transfer of the American Embassy to Jerusalem and the subsequent recognition of Israeli sovereignty in the Golan Heights, the US decision to resolve the conflict by applying sovereignty over Judea and Samaria is natural and necessary.
We urge the public to come and attend the 2nd Sovereignty Youth Conference to be held this Thursday June 13th at the Wohl Bar-Ilan Center at 17:00 to give practical backing to Ambassador Friedman and the Sovereignty Plan.
