Friday at Shdema – on the Rescue of Jewish Girls
This Friday, January 4, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., we will go up to Shdema for a fascinating talk by Anat Gobstein, Chairperson of the Lahavah organization, with documented stories on the rescue of Jewish girls who fell into the hands of Arabs
because of the excessive openness of Israeli society
because of the lack of a cohesive Jewish identity
because of the lack of warmth in the family
many Jewish girls fall prey and are seduced by the advances of the Arabs among us, and their lives – immediately following the wedding and the move to the Arab village – become a continuous hell.
The Lahavah organization rescues from this hell the Jewish girls who have fallen prey, for the reasons cited above. The rescue of Jewish girls is a complex and dangerous operation, and their rehabilitation is even more difficult, when the Jewish young woman is torn between her children and saving herself.
Everyone is invited!
