It is with great sorrow that the “Women in Green” family informs you of the passing of Michael Levi Matar,
a man devoted to Eretz Yisrael, who, together with his late wife Ruth z”l, who passed away one year ago this week, founded the movement 26 years ago.

Michael Levi Matar passed away at the age of 95, a man of faith, vision, and action, who agonized over the anguish of the Land, rejoiced in its joy,and longed and strove for its redemption and its sovereignty.

The funeral will take place today Monday November 4th at 2:00pm from the bet hespedim in Sanhedriya and from there to Har HaZeitim.

Shiva will be held in the house of the deceased Mishol Hakramim 2, Mizrach Rimon, Efrat.
