Trip to Galilee – Date Change

The monthly trip organized by Women for Israel’s Tomorrow (Women in Green)
to the Galil, will please G-d, take place on Monday, June 21, 2010, and not as publicized earlier.

The topic of the trip:
The redemption of the land by Jews a hundred years ago – Arab land grabs today – the attempts by the Ha-Shomer ha-Hadash (The New Guardian) organization to contend with the phenomenon
* tour guide in hebrew will be Aryeh Klein of Hebron *There will also be an English speaking tourguide

The program:
* 8:00 a.m. – departure from the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem
* 10:30 a.m. – in Ilaniah we will meet with Aryeh and Datyah Yitzhaki, among those expelled from Kfar Yam, who are active now in guarding the lands in Galilee
* 12:00 noon – observation point, overlooking the Ha-Shomer Farm
* 1:00 p.m. – Mitzpe Sando, with Yoel Zilberman, chairman of the Ha-Shomer ha-Hadash organization
* 2:00-3:00 p.m. – Turan ridge – meeting with Motti Peretz
* 4:30 p.m. – meeting with Adi and Tana Lahavi from the moshavah (agricultural settlement) of Kinneret
– visit to the Hatzer Kinneret (Kinneret Courtyard) museum and the Kinneret cemetery
* 7:00 pm – departure for Jerusalem
estimated return to Jerusalem: around 10:00pm
