Dear Friends,
As we are writing this email, the results of the municipal elections are slowly coming in. Let’s pray that all elected mayors will work for the benefit of the Jewish People in the Land of Israel. Now we need to focus on the national elections and make sure that Kadima and the Labor party will be overthrown and that the National camp will finally be able to come to power. Obviously what is needed is one very strong party to the right of the Likud that will force the Likud to stick to its platform and not betray us again and again as it has in the past. More on the upcoming elections in coming emails.
In addition to prepare for a political come back of the right, now, more than ever, is the time to step up the struggles for places in Eretz Yisrael that are in danger of falling into the Arab enemy’s hands.
One such place, as you know, is SHDEMA, the abandoned army camp on the Har Choma – Gush Etzion road. For the past few months the members of the Committee for a Jewish Shdema and Women in Green have been at the forefront of the struggle to keep Shdema in Jewish hands and make sure the Arabs do not get the area as they are trying to, in order to build an Arab neighborhood there and thus take away from us even more Jewish land.
We have been going up to Shdema every Friday to keep a Jewish presence there.
JOIN US THIS COMING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14th, at 9:30am in SHDEMA, in the fields of Bethlehem, for a moving and meaningful morning not to be missed.
Program:
* Mk Arieh Eldad will say a few words.
* Karni Eldad, daughter of MK Arieh Eldad and known singer, will be performing (singing and telling stories in Hebrew) accompanied by string trio.
In this week where we commemorate Rachel Imeinu, Karni’s performance will focus on Rachel’s Tomb and Rachel Imeinu.
FYI, Betlehem and Rachel’s Tomb are a 5 minute drive from Shdema.
The event will take place indoors whatever the weather. Dress warmly (there are no windows to the building).
The event is taking place with the IDF knowledge and protection.
