Yesterday Tuesday a ceremony was held at the Gush Etzion T-junction between Efrat, Tekoa and Pnei Kedem
renaming the junction TSOMET AMOS after the prophet Amos who lived in the area
The ceremony was organized by the Gush Etzion local council, Matnas Gush Etzion, Kfar Etzion Field school and the Eastern Gush Etzion action committee
Attached is a picture of Davidi Perl, mayor of Gush Etzion giving a few words of bracha next to the new sign
The ceremony is part of a campaign to increase the Jewish presence at the junction after Arab terrorists threw a molotov cocktail at a bypassing Jewish car.
Since then residents have held a daily vigil at the junction.
