Friday in Shdema on the Rebbe of KOTSK
This coming Friday November 1st at 9:00 in SHDEMA –
Rabbi Zev Sultanovitch’s second lecture , this time on the Rabi of Kotsk .

Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kotsk hated mediocrity . He demanded of his followers to always seek the truth without compromise ,
even at the price of conflict with society.

The Rebbe did not hesitate to criticize himself and others profoundly and poignantly . He set a high standard for Torah scholars .
Most Hasidic leaders stressed the ” love of Israel ” , the joy ,the Kotsker rebbe emphasized the conflict that each one must have with himself,
in order to arrive at the truth .
