Minister Regev: The Zionist response to terror – sovereignty

13170e57-758e-4f3c-b426-38f973604af9During her visit to the Oz veGaon Nature Preserve, Minister Miri Regev stated that “Sovereignty is the Zionist response to terror, and even if there is no terror we must implement sovereignty because the Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel”.

Minister of Culture and Sport Miri Regev visited Gush Etzion today. She was accompanied during her visit by the Head of Gush Etzion Council, Davidi Perl and his deputy, Moshe Savile.

During her visit, Minister Regev also came to the Oz veGaon Nature Preserve, which was established on the hill near Gush Etzion Junction, where she was welcomed by the heads of Women in Green, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, along with dozens of the movement’s activists.

The minister also added that: “Each morning we wake up to a new Islamist terror attack in Orlando, in Paris and other places. They have chosen a religion of death and we choose national life in the Land of Israel”.

Among the words of thanks and blessings that were said, the heads of Women in Green thanked Regev for the great and just reform cultural that her ministry is performing in the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria and in the periphery”.

In their conversation with the minister, Katsover and Matar described the cultural activities that have been held 1da6db20-166d-4bf3-8285-c1c771d8764aduring the past 11 years, since the expulsion from Gush Katif, in a number of points in Judea as a way to safeguard the Land , in agriculture and tourism, among which are Shdema, Netzer, Eitam, Adorayim and Oz veGaon.

Regev responded to these words with a promise to continue acting towards application of sovereignty, and as a first step, in Gush Etzion.
